About this program

The Master's project, developed over two semesters, focuses on urban architecture in all its scale levels, from master plans to individual buildings, using a major European city or region as a case study. Complex issues of urban expansion, redevelopment, and densification play a significant role, as does the preservation and continuation of historical monuments. The program is aimed at students with a special interest in urban design combined with complex questions of urban expansion, redevelopment, and densification, as well as the preservation and integration of historical monuments within urban redevelopment. The goal is strategic problem-solving across all scales of urban architecture, from master plans to urban housing.
