About this program
The Master's program "Applied Research in Engineering Sciences" (M-APR) offers Bachelor's and Diploma graduates the opportunity for further qualification in applied research and development. The study is closely linked to a research project and is accompanied by in-depth courses tailored to the respective project. Throughout the entire duration of the study, students are supervised by an appointed professor. The program qualifies students for independent engineering-based processing of application-oriented research projects. In addition to technical content, students also become familiar with organizational processes that occur in complex inter-company projects (e.g., in national or European research projects). The Master's program "Applied Research in Engineering Sciences" is an independent program of OTH Amberg-Weiden. It is offered in cooperation with the following universities (joint seminar offerings and conferences): Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH) Amberg-Weiden, Hochschule Ansbach, Hochschule Augsburg, Technische Hochschule Deggendorf, Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, Hochschule Landshut, Hochschule München, Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH) Regensburg.
