The Master's program Angewandte Data Science & Künstliche Intelligenz imparts application-oriented competencies that enable you to use methods and tools of Data Science and AI in professional practice in a goal-oriented, safe, and ethically responsible manner. The competencies of Data Science and AI are needed in a wide variety of professional fields to ensure successful and safe AI use and to explore AI innovation potentials. For this purpose, the acquisition of Data Science and AI know-how is application-oriented and thematically broad. Missing foundational knowledge can be acquired through tailor-made adaptation and introductory courses in advance or during the study program. The 3-semester Master's program Angewandte Data Science und Künstliche Intelligenz imparts application-oriented skills that can be quickly implemented in reality. These include business applications of Data Science and AI, human-centered AI, and the ethics behind artificial intelligence. Furthermore, the necessary expertise for this implementation will be conveyed to you through programming, simulation, and statistics. Individual specializations can be set through a broad range of elective courses, for example in the areas of Data Science in Medicine, AI and Sustainability, or Cloud Computing. Your competencies will thus be deepened according to your inclinations. With the Master's program DSKI, we enable you to competently, safely, and ethically responsibly apply methods and tools of Data Science and AI in professional practice. You should particularly acquire skills to independently apply methods and tools of Data Science and AI to diverse issues in company-related contexts, analyze the results, and communicate them within organizations. The application-oriented competencies to be acquired enable you to conceptualize, carry out, and lead Data Science and AI projects in companies and other organizations. With the degree in this program, you will gain job market-relevant and future-oriented skills for entry into a heterogeneous working world.
