The certificate program Taxation allows participants to complete individual modules of the Master's program in Tax Law or an entire certificate program. It is possible to start the certificate program without professional experience and without prior knowledge of tax law. Participants study together with the Master of Taxation cohort in the given study structure but do not write a Master's thesis. Participants can choose whether to attend exams or simply audit individual modules without examination. In either case, a certificate (graded or ungraded) will be issued. The program is also suitable for continuing education for those working in tax law, keeping them up-to-date. Successful participation meets the requirements for the theoretical part of the specialist lawyer for tax law or mandatory continuing education according to § 15 of the Specialist Lawyer Ordinance.
