The part-time certificate program in Social Psychiatry, which concludes with a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS), qualifies you for activities in all areas of psychiatry – especially in the field of integration assistance, outreach services, and psychosocial offerings for structuring daily life. Social psychiatric action often also touches upon areas of homeless, offender, and addiction support. Additionally, qualifications will be built to enable safe practice within the framework of the requirements of the reformed SGB IX. Thanks to the flexible study model, you can complete the MAS Social Psychiatry in just one year. Alternatively, it is possible to have all completed credits recognized for the five-semester Master of Arts in Social Work at Fliedner University of Applied Sciences and enter directly into the third semester. You will then receive your degree with the addition 'Specialization Social Psychiatry'.
