Biologie Erste Staatsprüfung Gymnasium

Bu program hakkında

The study program aims to equip students to become biology teachers who can deliver modern, experimentally-driven instruction. Initially, all core areas of biology (botany, zoology, physiology, microbiology, genetics, ecology, molecular biology) are covered. In the main study phase, students can specialize. Biology subject didactics focuses on the 'what, how, and why' of teaching and learning, adapting scientific content for the classroom and providing practical integration strategies. Students will learn to critically evaluate current topics with biological relevance, such as creationism, sustainability, resource management, animal and plant protection, and ethical considerations regarding plants and animals. The program follows the Jena Model, which includes a five-month practical semester in the fifth or sixth semester. Students study two subjects equally and complement their profile with educational science studies.
