This university course provides the essential legal knowledge for daily business practice in labor law. It is suitable for individuals in legal departments, managers needing to understand legal options, works council members, or employees wanting to know their rights and obligations. The course covers understanding and drafting employment and collective bargaining agreements, the rights and obligations of employees and employers, and the conditions and consequences of employment termination. It also includes an introduction to works constitution law, the role of the works council, employee participation, and specific laws such as the Youth Employment Protection Act, vocational training, and dismissal protection law. A current edition of relevant laws is provided for comprehension and deepening of the content.
