Acquire the specific knowledge for planning and establishing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with BSI Standards 200-1 to 200-3 (IT-Grundschutz). The training for the BSI IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker is based on the curriculum of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and enables participants to take on the tasks of an IT Security Officer (IT-Sibe) or Information Security Officer (ISB). After completing the training, participants will be able to support their organization's management in setting up an information security management system according to IT-Grundschutz, identify the specific protection needs of their information, applications, and IT systems, and define appropriate measures for their security concept. Furthermore, participants will acquire skills for setting up an organization-specific ISMS, managing processes, and documenting a security concept in accordance with BSI Standard 200-2. The focus of the training is on imparting the necessary expertise for planning, setting up, operating, maintaining, and improving an ISMS according to BSI IT-Grundschutz. By successfully passing the exam for BSI IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker, participants will be eligible to attend the advanced training for BSI IT-Grundschutz-Berater.
