Über diesen Studiengang

The central task of practice instructors is to support trainees in their professional competence development and to gradually guide them towards the independent performance of professional tasks. In this certificate course, you will learn to master current and future challenges in practice instruction. The course consists of two modules spread over a total of seven course weeks. Module I: Understanding instruction as an educational process in professional practice and developing a professional self-image as a practice instructor (5 ECTS). You will deal with your new role as a practice instructor: What motivates you, what do you enjoy about supporting trainees? You will reflect on your previous understanding of learning and instruction and combine it with current vocational education knowledge. You will become aware of your role model function towards learners and develop a professional pedagogical attitude. You will take the pedagogical mandate seriously to advocate for the concerns of training in your team and in the cooperation between learning locations. You will learn the necessary legal foundations for this. You will deal with the challenges and tensions of learning in professional practice. Module II: Planning, designing, assessing, and reflecting on instruction processes with learners in the professional field (5 ECTS). You will acquire competencies to support, assess, and promote learners in their individual development. You will learn to professionally shape contact and relationships with learners. You will develop openness and creativity for spontaneous learning opportunities. You will practice implementing instruction processes in your professional field in a methodologically and didactically planned manner and creating a learning-promoting atmosphere. You will learn to prepare trainees for examination situations and to co-design them. You will reflect on challenging pedagogical situations.
