Über diesen Studiengang

The Master's program in Prevention, Sports Therapy, and Health Management qualifies you for leadership roles in the growing health sector with content from health, medicine, and management. Developed in collaboration with the German Association for Health Sports and Sports Therapy (DVGS), it offers access to numerous reimbursable licenses and the possibility to obtain the professional title "Sports/Movement Therapy DVGS". Graduates can work as licensed course instructors for certified prevention courses and rehabilitation programs, which can be reimbursed by payers such as pension insurance, accident insurance, statutory health insurance, and long-term care insurance. The program also allows for employment in the "RV fit" training program of the German pension insurance. By choosing elective modules in movement therapy, you can bill for services in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, including disease management programs, integrated care, and rehabilitation aftercare (IRENA, T-RENA, Rehasport, and EAP). You will also receive up to 15 IST licenses and certificates, which, after recognition by the DVGS and certification by the Central Examination Office for Prevention (ZPP), enable billing with service providers. The program allows for individual specialization based on personal interests. Graduates are qualified for leading positions in areas of prevention and health promotion, rehabilitation facilities, clinics and therapy centers, health studios and fitness clubs, sports clubs and organizations, and health insurance companies. Through cooperation with the National Association for Fitness Certification (NAFC), students have the opportunity to obtain a US personal trainer license.
